ABSENCES

Fabio Batocchi - (C) 2017-2018

Abandoned factories.

For many, metaphors of oblivion. For me, memories of a perhaps happy time and, above all, not yet completely lost.

First, vital places fervent of work. Now abandoned spaces populated by "absences".

Apparently empty, but instead full of memories and testimonies, they tell the stories lived by people and objects that have been the soul of those places.

This fusion of a more or less remote past, present, and uncertain future, is

representation of today's world. Or, perhaps, of every age and time.
